Flint Scrapers found on day 4

Flint Scrapers found on day 4

Well what a fantastic way to kick off our new blog – an excavation on a site first explored by Alexander Keiller in 1934.  Its part of the Between the Monuments Project.

We’ve got daily dig tours and the finds are already coming thick and fast. We’re digging every day except Fridays between now and 9 August so come and take a look for yourself.

the Between the Monuments Project goes on until 2019. We’ll almost certainly be carrying out fieldwork next year but dates and details are yet to be confirmed. Watch this space…
