Christmas comes early at Avebury

We’ve had an early Christmas present in the Avebury half of the World Heritage Site. Those lovely people at BBC Countryfile Magazine have dropped us a line to let us know that we’ve been nominated in their Heritage Site of the Year awards.

We’ve all got our own take on what makes Avebury so special. But whether its the epic scale of the monuments,  the intimacy of the Stones or the ability to find solitude in one of the world’s most ancient landscapes special it undeniably is. And if you love Avebury as much as we do you can cast your vote here.

Have a wonderful Christmas and when the festivities are done and the days start to lengthen why not take a wander over our way and remind yourself what you’re missing.
